It took me a while to write my bio for this page… not because I’m lazy, but because Bryan had the lyrics to “Lola” by The Kinks in its place… and I really kinda like that song. (Even though I’m not entirely certain I want to know what it’s about.)
But that’s beside the point, on to what this page is really about. I’m more of an “honorary staff member” and I got involved in ZDayZ by accident, both their side and my side. (Being one of the “Bama Boys” usually means you’re better at shenanigans than being helpful.) Typically the other ZDayZ staff could be considered true motorsports enthusiasts as most of them are track rats. Then you have me. And while I’ve done my fair share of track days and cone punting, I’ve pretty much been adopted as the “King Hard Parker” of the group. And if you’ve ever seen my car it makes sense. G35, slammed so low on 20” step lip wheels that it looks broken, with a supercharger shoved under the hood just because… well, it makes loud noises and I like the way tire smoke smells.
Technically speaking, I’m “in charge of” social media and deciphering Bryan’s thoughts when he’s trying to type something and turning it into something regular people can read. I’m not very good at either of those tasks, but I’m really fun once we get to drinking – so they keep me around. I’m also a big believer in two things about ZDayZ 1. Bad decisions make for great stories and 2. You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.
….. Now that I think about it, those two things may be more related than initially thought.
My hobbies include blowing up VQ35’s, scraping my car on things, photography, travelling, Auburn Football and being inseparable from my beautiful (and extremely tolerant) wife, Nicole.
See you in May!
